wish this was me. Thanks to Desy for commissioning this one ^^

(Hoping Bsky won't compress the hell out of this image this time :,) )

Here is the whole gang in scale with one another! Chloe makes Josaphine look so tiny!!

I worked really hard on these and I hope it shows ❤️
Colored 2d drawings of five anthropomorphic animal characters. A king eagle, a cat in a red skirt with a pumpkin helmet, a regal falcon woman in a blue dress, a small rock dove woman in multicolored scale mail, and a tall moose woman in a dark cloak and green traveling clothes.

bsky.app/profile/nebu... (Here is the clothed version of V'Zhil and the type of armor one might see on a V'Silik).

Colored version finished, now with complete space suit. I have the image with text to point out features and added information that I will post later!
I love how V'Zhil turned out here and fleshing out V'Siliks tongue (Which has been plaguing me on how they use/eat with it)

Now I have the text version! A little discombobulated but it gives the quick blurb!

Creating a species page also means having all their art neatly collected in one place. :}

I hope I'll be done soon with all the descriptions..

<3 Thank you!! Been working on these guys for years and finally getting around to the more complex attributes

I have ultimately messed with their anatomy a bit, I decided to not give them 5 fingers as it served no purpose in their biology. I also wanted them to have more.. chitin/segmented parts instead of their bodies being soft all around.

Oh wow, so was thus just environmental decline or certain natural catastrophes that took place that affected this planet? (Or was it deliberate biological warfare)👀

I am for one, buzzing with excitement over your works and will be excited to read them!

It's spooky season, time to share some stuff!

I'll start with my Nan-Te'gah species. Most of them live on a dying planet. They can fly short distances and have mounts that can fly too. Someone once called them "alien fairies" and I love that.

Digital art of a monstrous but humanoid alien (species: Nan-Te'gah). The alien has their head tilted down and glances up menacingly. They have a crude bone-like structure on their face, with strangely aesthetic swirls and tips. They have ears too, which are more like thick appendages attached to the head. Their skin color is a light low saturated green with red scattered stripes. The eye is cerulean blue. Art by Kathaja Krim. Illustration of a Nan-Te'gah, an alien species, that shows the head in side view. The alien has four larger and two smaller appendages on their head, three on each side. Text on page: Head appendages are made of cartilage and muscle. Elongated tympanic membranes run along each of the four larger appendages and serve as sensory organs. Upper appendages: Specialized for detecting airborne vibrations and pressure changes. Lower appendages: Specialized for detecting underwater vibrations and movements. The appendages are also used to convey emotions by moving them into different positions. Active movement affects the membranes. While most self-generated disturbances can be ignored, the sensitivity of the membranes is dampened by active movement. Thus, increased focus or fear makes them eerily still. Nictitating membrane (third eyelid) can be drawn across the eye for protection, particularly when underwater. Outer teeth are part of the exoskeleton that covers the face. Lips close behind the outer teeth. The actual teeth are located inside the mouth, with pointed incisors and flatter molars. Canines are not prominent and look like incisors. Art by Kathaja Krim. Digital sketches of a flying creature, called Maardru, with its rider, a Nan-Te'gah. The first sketch shows both the creature and its rider while flying. The second sketch shows a close-up of the rider in front view while they spread their own wings and lift off the creature's back. The third sketch shows the creature's head and the rider next to it, touching its snout affectionately. Art by Kathaja Krim. Close-up photo showing a pencil drawing of alien wings. Some areas are shaded already, whereas others are outlined only. Art by Kathaja Krim.

Omg I love their wings so much, it's such a neat feature for them.

So what is their dying planet like? Is it mostly water or any landmass? Or have they mastered spaceflight to counter their dying planet?

Been trying to muster the energy to finish artwork instead of sketches- BUT I've been in such an Alien mood recently that I was started to work out my V'Silik Aliens (also how their mouths parts operated).
Featuring V'Zhil as a jungle variant!

I can't believe I made this. It's the most color-ish colored thing I ever did. I'm partially convinced that someone else made it and I stole it 💀

It's my alien species, the Nan-Te'gah, showing an option for their colors and skin patterns.
