i think with some side quests in 7.6 people are like "idk how anyone could think these arent connected" when to ME it feels more like... since its in a side quest, thats just a neat little easter egg? idk, we can accept shit like the ivalice raids in ff14 being noncanon but in dqx-

in my honest opinion they managed to stick the landing and i was so scared but they Did touch on a lot of the aspects i was hoping theyd touch on. they made the Biggest one i wanted a Focal point even. im so glad. they fumbled in many regards but the ending was so beautiful
