I grew up on a lake in Maine. As a kid I saw Great Blue Herons all the time, but I didn't know them as herons... my parents/family always called them "shitpokes". I was like 12 when I finally heard their real name.

It's a cool piece of tech. But it hurt my eyes and gave me a headache when I tried it out as a kid.

I showed this to my wife, because it's pretty funny. And she looked baffled. I suddenly realized that she has never seen Karate Kid and I don't think we need to change that for her.
