60 years ago, on Thanksgiving Day, Pete Gogolak kicked a winning field goal for the Buffalo Bills. He didn't kick straight ahead with his toe, but at an angle with his instep. This new style quickly caught on. It wasn't new to Pete. He played soccer as a kid in Hungary!
