Using a 3d printed build plate with that sort of pattern embedded? I suppose the item you unmolded would have that same pattern, right? It definitely seems worth a shot.

I plan on filling this with multiple layers of colored epoxy (possibly this weekend).

I just bought a luxonis oak-d ai camera (for art stuff), so the hardware/model portion of this video felt very relevant in a way that I didn't expect.
