The rewriting of American history at our National Parks — including the removal of images of slavery — is disgraceful.

At our hearing this morning, I demanded answers.

Grateful for the opportunity to drop-off some breakfast this morning for workers at the Forest Service in Fort Collins.

House Republicans’ refusal to negotiate an agreement to end their shutdown is ridiculous.

Enough of the political games!

The Trump administration’s cancellation of over $550 million in Federal funds for energy projects across Colorado — including critical programs at Colorado State University in Fort Collins — is UNLAWFUL.

We will use every legal and legislative tool to reverse it.
Trump administration slashes $550 million in Colorado clean energy grants. Democrats call it revenge.
Mostly blue states, like Colorado, are losing $7.5 billion in federal clean energy grants. Democrats say it is an act of political revenge.

While House Republicans continue their 4-week vacation, I spent yesterday meeting with constituents in Fort Collins.

No pre-screened questions.
No attendance limits.
No “handlers.”

Just me and my team listening to folks in Old Town at our “Congress on your Corner” table and providing resources.

Grateful to visit with folks at our office — including folks impacted by the government shutdown — and to answer calls from constituents across our district.

While Republicans refuse to govern, our offices in Fort Collins, Frisco, Boulder, & DC all remain open — please continue to reach out to us!

Your daily reminder — as President Trump’s conduct becomes more unhinged — that there is nothing he does that Republicans in Congress won’t defend.

Case in point.

No matter how long the federal government is shut down, our work across Colorado's 2nd District will continue.

Thanks to all the folks who stopped by our "Congress on your Corner" event at the Table Mesa Park & Ride today — grateful to hear your insights and suggestions! 📋✏️

Grateful for the opportunity to visit with the hardworking folks at NOAA in Boulder & drop off some breakfast items.

As we grapple with the Republican-initiated government shutdown, I hope you’ll join me in thanking & supporting the Federal workers being impacted — we owe them a debt of gratitude!

Republicans are capitulating to President Trump at every turn. Now they’re demanding passage of a bill exacerbating the cost of living crisis that they created.

My answer is simple — NO.

Neguse: "I would challenge anyone to make sense of the rantings and ravings you just heard from the president. These are not serious people tweeting out offensive videos last night on Truth Social ... I think it's important for all of us to acknowledge what we see with our own eyes"

The Capitol this morning is a ghost-town.

Why?

Because House Republicans would rather shut down the government than reverse the devastating cuts to healthcare for working families.

Right now is a watershed moment for our republic. It’s never been more important for us to stand up for our hard fought rights & freedoms.

Proud to receive Colorado Common Cause's 2025 Champions for Democracy award last week — and recommit to the work ahead to defending our democracy.

Onwards.

Proud to secure over $12 Million in funds for wildfire mitigation projects in Grand and Larimer counties. With fires raging across Colorado year-round, it’s more important than ever that we invest in these critical mitigation efforts.

Grateful to meet with local unions yesterday & support their efforts on behalf of working families!

Disgraceful.

Shameful,

And one of the worst abuses in the history of the Department of Justice.

The President’s politicization of DOJ is doing generational damage to the rule of law.
