OfS confirmed to me on 27 October that they intend to revoke the LTE Group Ltd order before it comes into effect on 1 January - but they seem to be very slow over this and are running out of time.

I see that the Explanatory Note to the amendment order gives the UKPRN of the institution (is this now to be a standard feature?) but not its registered company number which was how the institution was uniquely identified in the original order.

… instead of granting a free- standing power for a new period. I feel the poor drafting of orders is going to cause a serious problem sooner or later

They can continue to award foundation degrees for an indefinite period under the 2022 order because it remains in force and has not been amended by the 2025 order. I think it would have been clearer if the 2025 order had amended the time period for bachelors degrees in the 2022 order …

The Explanatory Note to this order gives the UKPRN of the College but the Note is legally not part of the Order. So it seems to me that this does not meet the requirement for orders to define recipients of powers uniquely.

This order amends SI 2023/875 in which the provider’s registered company number is given, but curiously this order’s explanatory note refers to the provider’s UKPRN number.
