ICE is using your tax dollars to target children.

A child in my district was deported days before the start of the school year.

We are demanding answers on why K-12 students are being arrested and whether the Department of Education is fulfilling their obligations to students in custody.

Representatives Ocasio-Cortez, Espaillat, and Goldman lead a letter demanding transparency on ICE detention of school-aged children.

Letter signed by Representatives Ocasio-Cortez, Espaillat, Goldman, Clarke, Latimer, Meeks, Meng, Nadler, Tonko, Torres, and Velázquez.

Serious question: What's stopping the State of Illinois from arresting Stephen Miller & charging him with incitement?

The Senate didn't confirm him. He's just a guy.

At some point, the states MUST use their authority to prosecute, because the federal government certainly will not.
