In “Trials and Tribble-ations,” the crew of the Defiant work to stop a Klingon spy named Darvin from assassinating Captain Kirk. The DS9 crew try to blend in on the Enterprise and K-7 station, while both are overrun with Tribbles.

The Doctor and Seven singing “You Are My Sunshine” is one of my favorite moments in Voyager.

As a DS9 super fan, I have really enjoyed the Star Trek Rat Pack concerts at STLV and on the cruises. Using classic tunes with Star Trek inspired lyrics, the Rat Pack delivers great performances full of laughs. There is a core group, but also some special guest stars.

A favorite TNG track: “Borg Engaged” by Ron Jones
The Enterprise gets a visual of the Borg cube. The scene is accompanied by a music track that powerfully conveys impending danger on its way.
“Mr. Worf, dispatch a subspace message to Admiral Hanson: we have engaged... The Borg”

“His Way,” introduces our favorite holographic lounge singer, Vic, who tries to help Odo loosen up and woo Kira. Music is key to this great episode. Odo “plays” piano in Vic’s band & a holographic version of Kira sings a wonderful cover of “Fever.”

Day 3: minimalist orchestration
The final scene of “The Inner Light” brilliantly uses the now iconic flute solo composed by Jay Chattaway. The scene conveys a lot of emotion in the simple melody played by Picard.

The first Captain’s Log heard on Star Trek was on “The Man Trap.”
“Captain's log, stardate 1513.1. Our position, orbiting planet M-113. On board the Enterprise, Mr. Spock, temporarily in command. On the planet, the ruins of an ancient & long-dead civilization.”
