Another home run for @danpgwatters.bsky.social and @comicstitan.bsky.social. Looks like The Prison Paradox is going to be a high stakes #DoctorWho adventure not to be missed. A very interesting cast and a cool concept which could easily make for a great episode of the series.

I’ve now had the chance to read both issues #1 and #2 of #StarTrek The Last Starship. After two issues this latest story from @hivemindactual.bsky.social and @idwpublishing.com is starting to feel like a lost Star Trek movie. Epic and cerebral.

Hats off to Zach Cregger, #WeaponsMovie is an elaborate and meticulously constructed mystery. Surprisingly funny at times, but also unabashedly twisted and brutal. I had hope for more scares but was thoroughly entertained!

#TheFantasticFour is certainly Marvel’s most stylish and original movie to-date. The production is glorious. Every detail of Earth 828 is beautiful and meticulously designed. The family dynamic translates well thanks to genuine cast chemistry. Galactus is menacing!!

Saw #Superman at BFI IMAX last night. My 5th viewing overall. It looked stunning up on the giant screen. The small details and easter eggs were even more impressive. Great to see the film sold out and packed with families at the end of its second weekend.

Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali are so good at the centre of #JurassicWorldRebirth . Never underestimate the power of a dynamic trio of humans being chased by an impressive roster of dinos.

The Jurassic franchise has met its match in Gareth Edwards. #JurassicWorldRebirth is captivating in a way I haven’t felt since the OG trilogy. Its dinos are equal parts majestic and terrifying. But it also ticks all boxes for family drama and human elements. Visually striking.

I’ve seen all episodes of Marvel Studios’ #Ironheart. It’s a slow burn. But once it gets going there’s a lot to enjoy. Dominique Thorne is electrifying as RiRi Williams whilst Anthony Ramos seems to be searching for meaning in The Hood. Mixing tech and magic works really well.
This cast and these characters show Marvel is capable of an Avengers-level threat alongside an impressive level of heart and character development. #Thunderbolts is easily one of the best MCU team-ups to-date.

#Thunderbolts is a home run for Marvel Studios. Pugh is incredible. Harbour is hilarious. Its ensemble cast is solid. An exhilarating mix of action comedy and drama. It revels in the being part of the MCU but carries none of the weight of its continuity.

#Sinners demolished all expectations. Coogler breathes new, original and unique life in to the vampire genre. The script is defiant, daring to bring comedy to tragedy. Its musicality is unparalleled. Electric performances from Jordan, Mosaku (❤️) and Steinfeld.
