Bro’s friend hurt her back and can’t be alone, she has no one else so she’s moving in with us for up to six weeks. She can’t do an airmattress, refuses a mattress used by a stranger, so she gets my whole bed and I’m on the air mattress, for weeks. She doesn’t get my room at least, bed will be moved.

Been in this house 3+ years whith all the kitchen windows and door naked and finally decided to do something about it. It was mostly the bay window holding me back. Well, that’s done and it looks awesome.

Last week bro’s Tesla was sideswiped by a semi and the spikes on its hupcaps tore a gnarly hole in one door. 😬 Insurance doesn’t cover a rental and repairs will take weeks so he’s gonna have to take my car, hopefully I don’t need it those days. :P

Ended up with iPhone 17 Pros and only because they were out of regular 17s. :P But, that did mean I could get an orange one. I don’t like how the camera sticks out though. 🤷🏻♀️

Going out to finally upgrade our phones today. We’re still using iPhone SEs, lol. We’ve both been having lots of issues over the past few months and really can’t ignore it anymore. :P

Wow. Was expecting a package but just checked the tracking app and an hour ago it says they attempted delivery but had to abort due to “animal interference”. Was a dog loose in our court (I didn’t hear anything). Was there a large dead animal in the road en route? 🤷🏻♀️

I just learned that the body of water that runs behind our house isn’t the named creek I thought it was (that’s about a mile away). I don’t know if it even has a name (though I’ll try to find out). I think it’s seriously just some kind of drainage ditch. 🫢 I feel kind of silly about it now.

I had brought covid tests on the trip and bro tested positive yesterday. 🙄 I tested negative yesterday but I bet I do get it, so I can have covid for my birthday and my favorite holiday, yay. On the road now, a couple more hours til home.

Was in the NBC store Mon & saw this Mayor shirt & figured I’d come back for it. Also picked up this pillow & said, “I don’t need a Mayor head pillow” & put it down & another lady said “But maybe you DO need a Mayor head pillow” & you know what she was right bc now I have a cushion for Fantasmic.
