The people writing these rules absolutely know, this is the actual intent of them. It’s the average white educated voter who doesn’t understand the many ways that this creates a barrier to voting, along with all the MAGA fans and the blindly following folks amongst the GOP voters.

The suit also slams the defendants for using excessive force, noting that law enforcement sent SWAT teams to a family friendly event; snipers stood atop a nearby barn and silo as parents and their kids waited below. Officers allegedly used racial epithets, including “spic” and “wetback,” and swore at minor children. Juana Rodriguez, a 30-year-old Idaho-born citizen, begged for officers to remove her zip-ties so she could console her sobbing 3-year-old son. “As a parent, nothing is more heartbreaking than hearing your child cry out in fear and being told you cannot hold or comfort them,” she said in a statement provided to me before the lawsuit was filed. Among the teens who were zip-tied during the raid, the lawsuit says, was a 15-year-old with the initials Y.Z.—afterward, his grades slipped and he became anxious. Ten-year-old A.S.P. had recurring nightmares. “I took my 3-year-old to a family-friendly event where we could eat, play, and enjoy horse races together,” Rodriguez said in her statement. “My toddler was forced to witness an incredible amount of violence against people he loves and hear racial slurs about Latinos, experiences that no child should ever be exposed to.” “I am a proud US citizen,” she added. “I know what happened to me was wrong and…no family should be treated this way again.”

US regulators will not review Moderna’s request to license a new, potentially more effective flu shot – even though the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) previously gave the green light to the project – in a decision that could have implications for all new and updated vaccines in the US. It’s the latest move by the Trump administration against vaccines. Officials in January decided to stop fully recommending one-third of routine childhood vaccines, including flu vaccines. “This is likely to discourage industry from investing in future influenza vaccines, and makes working with the US FDA uncertain and problematic,” said Dorit Reiss, professor of law at UC Law San Francisco. “They are refusing to review a new vaccine with a more flexible technology, while creating a real risk we will not have traditional vaccines for next year.” Messenger RNA, or mRNA, vaccines have shown the potential to be more effective at protecting against some illnesses, and they may also be updated more quickly than traditional egg-based flu vaccines – an important consideration since flu evolves quickly and may have pandemic potential.

Inspector General Christopher Fox, the intelligence community watchdog, on Monday evening carried by hand the highly classified allegation to a select group of lawmakers, according to CBS News. The document was reviewed on a 'read-and-return' basis by members and staff of the Gang of Eight, the small bipartisan group who oversee America's spy agencies. The whistleblower complaint filed against the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) by a staffer in May alleged that a highly classified report was deliberately suppressed for political reasons. The complainant also claimed that an intelligence agency's legal office failed to refer a potential crime to the Justice Department, also for political reasons. ...

The trainers are commanded to intentionally escalate things. Were they looking for any scenario where they could feign a justified reason to use live rounds? Both times done casually by someone after the excuse's supposed reason had passed, and then unloading more bullets. 2/2

I believe that they also said that Good's shooter trains others on firearms and Pretti's trains others on "less lethal" arms. At another location we heard an agent slowly instructing one to "just take the shot" when they seemed to hesitate against peaceful protestors. It feels as though 1/

Remember, it’s also CPB that is actively responsible for much of the heinous DHS behavior. They were brought in to lead the “surges” because ICE wasn’t horrible enough for Trump/Miller/Noem.

I do think it is important that local and regional papers do point out what they are calling it, in some way that everyone there knows, and is appalled by it. A headline tearing it apart on the front page as it starts, then smaller when it is gaining more notice? Not sure, but not hidden totally.

I think that was a misunderstanding people had. Per the video the shooter actually took, her wife was outside of the car, reaching for the door handle to go back into the car at one point in his video but didn't wind up getting inside before he took his shot & then she ran to the car after it moved.
