My New Years Resolution for 2025 was to introduce fish into my diet, by trying to eat fish at least once a month. I think I may narrow that for a while to just Basa while I try increase the frequency. I've had Basa a few times now and if I can normalise it, that might help me with others long term.

I cannot take the verb 挟む seriously. I just remember my friend flapping his arms in a weird way at a language exchange event when he taught me that word after teaching me the word for scissors...

I've been rewatching Kaguya-Sama... Season 2 Episode 7 has more second-hand embarrassment in it than annything else on the planet. I had to keep pausing it to get through it.
Still possibly my favourite Romance Anime (though I'll admit the catalogue of shows I've seen in that genre is sparse).

I've been rewatching Kaguya-Sama... Season 2 Episode 7 has more second-hand embarrassment in it than annything else on the planet. I had to keep pausing it to get through it.

If anyone knows of a way to change every instance of variable's name in one go in MS VBA, would be much appreciated. Imma go cry because no one told me a specific naming convention had to be used... 😭😭😭

I meant "On Sunday, let's organise a group ramen trip" not "Let's organise a ramen trip for Sunday". I meant to say the former of those things in Japanese to my Japanese friend, but by the sounds of things I said the latter.

I'm going to lose my mind tomorrow over VBA. I have to go in and change the names of every variable in every function for compliance with the naming convention and everything is going to break in the process...

Bad start to the work day today. Had a very Autistic reaction to something, that annoyed someone else. Right now, I really want a hug, because I'm going to be thinking about it for the rest of the day.

I just responded to a game of Shiritori with バナナ for the second game in a row, with the same person providing the previous word. Either I don't know many words beginning with ば or I associate this person with Bananas.
Given I associate one of my best friends with pineapples, either is possible...

I feel like I should maybe post on here about my (failed) attempts at constructing sentence in Japanese, what I learn from them.
I do pretty well with Kanji and Vocab (could possibly improve of verb selection), but my biggest downfall is Grammar - so I'm trying make more of an effort.

Losing my pencil case on the train 2 months ago remains one of my biggest regrets in life. I cannot stand Casio's newest models... I miss my fx-991EX. The CW model awful.
