Working in the UK, I see so many kids who have puberty delayed until they are forced off the blockers or who have to become 18 first. Not going through puberty while your friends and peers are can be ostracizing too.

I work in trans healthcare. Unfortunately, hormone blockers aren't an indefinite solution as they cause bone marrow density issues. In an ideal world, professionals could trust young people to know what they wanted, do any safeguarding and mental health work and start providing hormones.
