have some fun snippets :)) this first set is called 'lucifer and his daddy issues'
"God is a passive fool who refuses to lift a finger—a coward who cannot face consequences for His actions!" The breath Lucifer drew in throught gritted teeth tasted of sulfur, the hatred he felt making his veins burn and his blood rush. "He does nothing, and I have done everything. What kind of god is He?" Digging his nails into his skin, Lucifer felt quite suddenly disgusted with his flesh and all of its heaviness, wanted to peel the skin from it and then the flesh from his bones. This was the body the Lord had molded for him with tender hands, and he hated it—wanted to take a chisel and hammer to it—wanted to devour it to remake it. Lucifer had seen the infinite forms and faces of God, had seen his face and all of the other angels' there. But the Lord deserved nothing of the sort, least of all from Lucifer; the old angel would wrench off the head of God that had his face and would tear off his own just so they would not look like each other. So Lucifer could be something more than an adjunct of his uncaring, distant Father.

the oldest angel lucifer is tasked by the lord god to raise all angels born after him, including the secondborn michael. when michael's search for himself leads lucifer to do the same, lucifer begins to question god, asking: why do you let me suffer?

Through it all, Lucifer could only manage the slightest of smiles, but even that felt strange, like the heavy flesh the Lord had shaped for him was threatening to finally crumble. What would be underneath? Lucifer felt like all of himself had shrunk to one infinitely tiny, dense point; a singularity of an eternally bleeding heart. The flesh was his no more, but he knew not who it belonged to.
