i planned to do hard&hard for my 1st playthrough and then lost in the fog for my ng+ but since i've heard u might have to play it yet another time i think im gon save it for the 2nd ng+ lmao

right !!! it's so intriguing ... i've lowered the difficulty of the combat to story tho 🤕 increased the puzzle one to lost in the fog to compensate

you basically have to "level up" ur character; but the only way of leveling her up is sacrificing healing items ( in a survival horror game !! where resources are limited !! ) enemies give you no exp and the only extra way of getting it is by finding rare items that give exclusively exp

it's supposed to be clunky cuz its a survival horror; but previous silent hills are not as focused on combat and this one that loves throwing enemies at you; so the whole experience gets kinda ruined cuz of that honestly. the new mechanics aint very well designed either i feel 💀

this is a normal consequence of spending my time w family do not worry it will pass
