- horizontal is more comfortable to hold! Several people struggle a bit with verticals of this size
- face buttons and switches: community and reviewers seemed unanimous - the buttons and dome switches in the Miyoo Flip (GBA clone) or MM+ are incredible and maybe can be copied!

I guess a really clean enclosure can use another solution for the USB ports to be oriented like the original console or in the back only).
Here is an example of a handheld with a single board (the latest mister pi board is equivalent, with the soldered RAM): youtu.be/SrycyjIemgY

You can always drop the top board that gives extra A/V options (and just use HDMI output).
And/or the USB board (that provides extra ports)

Sorry one more thing! The newest RetroRemake boards have soldered SDRAM, so if HDMI output alone is ok, you can just use the base slim single board, for a super thin Saturn Mini 😀 bsky.app/profile/taki...

That would be amazing! The popular boards are hard to get because of high demand (they keep selling out! Currently out of stock), I'd gift you mine but I'm temporarily abroad wo/ it. I'll share CAD files in this thread :)
