Why are the Giants / didn't the Giants approach him and say he can have whatever structure (and compensation package frankly) that he wants / personnel that he wants and just go from there? Giants fumbling this would almost be as bad as all those dudes fumbling Taylor Swift pre-Travis.

I would assume Schoen would work more to see Harbaugh's vision through rather than being in a more peer position like previously. For all his recent failures too, I think John Mara is a decent owner trying to do right. The Athletic article on all the nepotism in the org is concerning though.
