I repair things. And I like to ski. And barbecue. And wear aloha shirts. Maybe a fine cocktail. Lover of logic, science, history, and a well seasoned human intellect.
Barry Manilow has lung cancer, but they think caught early. Best wishes for successful treatment and full recovery. He is, after all, the guy who writes the songs that make the whole world sing. He writes the songs of love and special things. He writes the sings that make the young girls cry.…

Fentanyl is now a WMD?

Can we get any dumber?

Word games are the domain of children and dilettantes. Governance is serious work, for serious people.

How this incompetent guy doesn’t get fired, is beyond me. We look like such a joke.

Americans, please stop voting for politicians who constantly lower the standards, and who pick incompetents to run our most vital institutions.

All coffee shops should have a counter that just makes actual coffee drinks. But I have to wait for 37 different super mocha oat latte peppermint pumpkin spice frapalatteccinos to be made before my cup of actual coffee can be started.

I struggle with this holiday. based on faulty history. We remember a loving feast, but we wiped out the indigenous people with disease, guns, or both. Flawed as we are, what the holiday has come to be, is a fine thing in its own right, and my favorite secular holiday of all. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sad to have just learned of the passing of Tatsuya Nakadai, one of the real GOATs. He could say more with an expression than most can with a soliloquy. If you see just one, make it Harakiri. So brilliant, but it’s not for the faint of heart.

Just read a headline that Paul McCartney once sent his baby daughters poop to a music critic.

Was wondering if it was just after he released ‘Temporary Secretary.’

Things looking pretty glum for Andrew Windsor. Only way out at this point would seem to be a ‘Kind Hearts and Coronets’ sort of thing. Not saying he should, mind you.

But…..it just might work.

I don’t believe private donors should be allowed to fund public works like the WH east wing. It’s a setup for quid pro quo and counter to our values. Un-American and beneath us.

Now if you want to create an anonymous donation system to fund federal projects, I’m sure it’ll bring in trillions.

As an American citizen, with everything going on in our country and the world at large I have a great many concerns.

But the first and foremost of them is to stop our government from hiding all it knows about Amelia Earhart.
