Judging from screenshots, we thought Saya was a metaphorical story about not fitting in and feeling like an outsider, it's not this, it's Gein-slop, Ed Gein type slop, it's a very generic story about a really unlikable guy having a random mental illness that makes him see Meat World.

We enjoyed Saya as a horror story, still think aesthetically it looks incredible, it has one of the best Meat Worlds ever put into a visual media, but the erotica is just... It feels like a story that was written first and foremost as an excuse to fuck a little girl and as a horror story second.

Saya is meant to be horror/romance/erotica but to me it always felt like the erotica part of that combo took away from the horror part pretty heavily. |
