One observation I had in May 2025 at Shanghai Pudong International Airport compared to October 2024 is that foreign travelers almost tripled, even though far fewer than pre covid. China’s free visa policy is slowly working.

Of course I have to start long $TCOM. China is in for a very long fight, but I can wait. Not every local gov can attract a semi company, but they can try to attract tourists. That’s what central gov wants for 2025. Co is also small enough to not upset any policy makers.
