Ah heck, sorry to hear that. I’ve been caught up in similar before and it’s so frustrating. Is the role one where you’d typically be speaking publicly? If not it shouldn’t matter to them if you don’t interview ‘well’, maybe see if they can offer a written Q&A alternative that shows your strengths?

Said it’s due to the lease expiring, place hasn’t seen a penny of investment since it opened in 2001 and the lift hasn’t worked for ages. The chain’s closed a handful of other locations already this year, seems they’re somehow in worse financial shape than Cineworld.

Maybe just something being floated ahead of the autumn statement, but the timing of it while investors and CEOs are starting to brief against AI feels auspicious
