Pro tip: don’t get book recommendations from old geezers. Two pages into Sketch with Asia, the first art tutorial book I picked out 100%!myself, and it’s already MUCH more promising than the three I read last week.

I DID IT!! I finished 3 books in 1 week! Ngl, it was pretty painful at times (especially since these include exercises) but at least now drawing once a day seems like nothing in comparison. Without this challenge it would’ve taken me over a month to finish these so I’m glad that’s already dealt with

I am happy to report I’m on good track to complete my read-3-books-about-drawing-by-the-end-of-this-week challenge, although it has ben PRETTY demanding… only a couple more days though! Here’s some of the results from the exercises of one of the books:

YouTube keeps surprising me! Yesterday I posted my probably crappiest video in a while: generic title, no thumbnail, sloppy editing… and in it I basically tell people I’m putting the channel on pause to focus on a 2nd one and other priorities.
