We need to focus less on the personal failings of politicians. Nobody gives a flying fuck if Pete Hegseth paid someone off in a sexual assault case if they think he's effective at implementing policies that they care about. Focus on their policy failings if you want to make them less popular.

Trump does a lot of little shitty things, but I think the media made a mistake highlighting all of them during his first term. It made people exhausted and created the idea of Trump Derangement Syndrome. This time around, can we just focus on hammering him on his big mistakes?
