Tom Homan once told @aoc.bsky.social during a hearing that to claim asylum, migrants must do so at a port of entry. They don't. He lied and he knows he lied. He said it to convince the public that his version is the rule. That was intentional and now most believe it to be true. It isn't.

Also, the Trump admin is about to end the ability of people to seek asylum at ports of entry and by restarting Remain in Mexico he’ll take people who go to ports of entry and send them back to Mexico to wait months and months and months for hearings.
