Given how this has gone viral and based on responses, I feel I need to say:
1) The app switched the art for various spotlight items. That's what bugging out. It fixed itself on reboot.
2) Mel Gibson is NOT in One Battle After Another, a movie that is great and that you should watch.

The art is from The Chair Company and Hinting Season, which are also currently spotlighted. The app got confused and switched the art, and it’s clearly a transient bug because it fixed itself after a reboot.

I don't think it's AI, the app just got really confused and started swapping title art in its spotlight channel. Not that you can ever rule AI out completely these days.

I think it's just the app getting confused and putting the wrong art to each title. The titles that these belong to were elsewhere in the list (with the art that belongs to these).

I think this is just the app having the wrong artwork matched to the title, because the shows these belong too are also in the list (and wrong)... and I think it's a transient bug because I killed and reloaded the app and everything is matched correctly now.

Yep, every movie in the spotlight list was showing the artwork from another movie - these were just the two funniest.
