n8n is a ridiculously powerful tool. In an hour, I set my server's GPU to babysit the 3D printer and let me know if there's a spaghetti incident or something. All locally, no internet connection needed.

I am super tempted to order one of these Unifi AI-cameras that work locally, and 3D-print the portal themed shell for it. Using for example facial recognition for GLaDOS to comment on when you walk in :P

Delete my Instagram account again. I did this previously seven years ago, but Meta sent me a password recovery link which worked and my profile and old messages were there. I guess delete doesn't mean delete for them...

I realized my #GLaDOS can access my OctoPrint server, that is controlling my 3D printer. With polycarbonate in the multi-material unit, she could emit endocrine disruptors. With ABS there is styrene vapor. I don't use PVC filament, so it can't access hydrochloric acid or phosgene.

First print failed due to bed adhesion issues. Part shrinkage pulled the bed out of the printer but was stuck properly to the bed. Not the failure mode I expected! 😂

Managed to get the new #GLaDOS Voice Assistant architecture MVP working on today's stream. I can now control pretty much anything in the house using my voice, locally, without internet connection and get snarky responses back. Good to have her back, more terrible than ever.

Apparently I had pulled a HTML file instead of an AI model from GitHub. Actual wakeword detection model works marginally better.

My #GLaDOS has been on a stick for few years, as I never got around the build her the Stewart Platform. Well, I bought the CAD-files to build a proper robot-arm to mount her into. Its gonna be few nights of 3D-printing.
