My congresswoman is no longer replying to my emails. Which is good because the reply that I did get was deranged: With a divided government… I’ve joined a committee…private security guards stopped us from entering the department of Ed. That last part broke me. May as well vote MAGA.

My husband is from Bridesburg and we battle over who the hell puts mayo on an Italian hoagie. He says it’s a NE Philly thing, and I don’t care. It’s wrong.

I just noticed this year that he looks like he’s not at all accustomed to dancing but is enjoying himself. It’s terrific.

I have a book that was issued to families stationed in Germany (given to my grandparents), and this warning about human waste used as fertilizer appeared right above the one about raw milk. It also credits vaccination for preventing disease.

In 1947 we knew better. The US imported Pasteurized milk for families stationed in Germany.
