It takes hundreds of millions of dollars to launch a service. On top of that 35 episodes costs $25M. The risk of not having a home is there but I think it's slim. SS is too valued of an IP to go away. Disney is probably right place for it to go but I could see Amazon, Apple or Netflix bidding for it

It costs a lot of $$$ to start your own service. They probably make a ton of money licensing the rights to one service. Also being part of service instead creating your own is one less service parents would need and is a good PR move. It could stand on it's own but is it a good idea? Probably not.

Making that much money without anything going into production is quite impressive. I would like to know his deal with Marvel over Deadpool residuals.
