Prototyping. On left, the official Minirig 4 case that has a zippered top and no port access while in case. On right, a case I made today with no zippered top and all port access while in the case. Cordura fabric, Gore-Tex liner. 😎

Current setup on the school bus: two Minirig 4 speakers wired in stereo, one FiiO BTR17 Bluetooth DAC wired to the speakers, and one HiBY R4 DAP handling the music playback over Bluetooth to the FiiO. I've been doing this for decades; I don't think I've ever heard a better setup. 🤘

Something about the #Pebble Time 2 redesign reminds me of the Philco Predicta, and in a VERY good way! I love it! @ericmigi.com it was a stroke of genius moving to that look. 😎

What's really mind blowing is given how old this #Pebble Time Steel is, it is more responsive with its Bluetooth playback controls than many other popular smart watches released after it. Can't wait for the sequel! 😂⌚

My son asked me if I had any #OzzyOsbourne songs on my music player. The Prince Of Darkness? That's like asking a bird if it can fly. Ozzy is required listening (that's the early beginnings of synthwave) and an excellent teaching opportunity. 🤘🫅🦇

Sadly, even with the Rebble instructions followed to a T, the Pebble 2 HR and the Pebble Time Steel as well as the Pebble app do not work with the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. See photo for full explanation (BSky word count limitation). @ericmigi.com

Six years ago was the last time I wore a #Pebble watch. I hated giving it up but I also didn't want either of them messed up since they were no longer manufactured. Who knew that would change this year? 🎉😎🤘⌚

There hasn't been a watch geared towards music playback control using physical buttons since the #Pebble. In fact, most watches after it barely make controlling music from your phone on your watch usable. If anything @ericmigi.com this was a huge reason to bring it back. 😎
