Waiting on my antifa check from Soros! Mom, wife, educator, metalhead, secularist, pro-choice, ally, anti-racist, #unionstrong, animal lover. Do no wrong, but take no shit!
I’m not rude, but DMs make me feel uncomfortable, so please don’t.
It’s on my wishlist for holiday reading. ‘Tis the season!

I’ve been telling my husband to watch that movie almost daily for months now.

It’s unsettling, to say the least, but a reminder—despite how incredibly polarized everything feels lately—that most people are far more nuanced than we realize. (I mean, most of these “unlikely places” are unsavory people, but you know the saying about a broken clock) 🤷🏻‍♀️

Absolutely gorgeous and happy gotcha-versary!

“The economy” could be replaced with “democracy,” “freedom of speech,” “decency,” “checks and balances,” etc etc, and it would’ve been just as accurate.

This was one of my favorite pieces to read with my ELA class when I taught middle school. The kids really enjoyed it! I love teaching history, but this reminds me that I miss my other area.

Feels like we’ve done all or most of this before 🤔
But at least those other times we’ve put on a better dog-and-pony show to justify it 🙄

Not that we need any confirmation, but since I SADLY live in a red state, I can safely say, he’s full of 💩

Yep, words matter! (Speaking of which , love your choice of nambypamby 😂💯)

That was a very engaging read! Thank you for sharing 🥰
(I don’t agree with the part about having compassion for this particular “addict” though, but that could be MY revenge addiction talking 🤣)

Yeah, it’s so cute how they always claim they’re the party of small government, but they want to control everything ! They’re the party of “small government” when it comes to trying to do right by the people, but for all else, they’re the party of tyrannical overreach.

The guy who taught the confirmation class in my church gave us an assignment to write what our vision of heaven would be like. He specifically told ME “but no playing of heavy metal in heaven!”
I replied “then why would I want to go there?” Could’ve been the beginning of the end for me 🤣😅

I felt like it was important to get consent from the vendor first, and then I forgot to do this. So now, if anyone wants their own, or similar items: equaliTEEShop.com

I don’t know if I find it funny or terrifying that you just put my thoughts into words. It absolutely hits like a plot twist in a series…then again, so much of the present feels like a work of fiction—dystopian horror, and not always well-written.

Dare to dream…

Thank you…I needed this.
They’re so freaking adorable; I want to snuggle them and swim holding their little paws 😩

Research supports the importance of early reading, & anecdotally, I’ll add: I learned to read when I was 3 looking over dad’s shoulder as he read. I read to my own children daily, they’ve each always been at least 2 grade levels ahead in their comp. My struggling students—not read to until school 😥

Now I can’t unsee it 🫠🤣
