Autistic, disabled #floxie, pancreatic cancer survivor, adult skater, blogger, and cranky old woman. Vehemently anti-fascist.

Personal account, gonna get mouthy at times. Well... Probably most of the time.
Although, I suppose the Republicans would find that unfair or prejudicial somehow.

I vaguely recall being asked about any possible associations with Nazis, attempts to overthrow governments, etc.

I wish I could have seen her in person!

As a young skater, she was one of the few that I*really* looked up to.

I could never identify with the waify, delicate skaters. She was all muscle and power and I looooved it!

Yes, but it's really ugly. Nowhere near as smooth and sure as Surya.

Today the majority of humans on the planet have a reason to eat fried food, and that is beautiful.

Unless something has changed since I left the USA, some of those states will threaten a doctor's medical license, for failure to report their autistic patients to the registry.
February 18, 2026 at 7:12 PM
Fun fact:

Republican Jim Abeler tried to sneak in legislation to create a *mandatory* registry of autistic people in Minnesota... On a public safety bill, iirc.

These registries have existed in other states for more than a decade, at this point.

I recently started the day with a message from a friend in Minneapolis that very casually dropped the fact that he'd been shot at by state police the day before.

We used to talk about cosplay conventions.

... I had no idea Jackie Chan could sing.

What a sweet video!

I've been wondering if it would be a good idea to start collecting screen shots and data for when things turn around.

Not even just the politicians, I'm thinking of all the people that show up in comment sections urging Trump to shoot at protestors, and such.

They should wear the shame, later.

I know Canada is looking for doctors and nurses, do we know yet if Carney is doing anything to scoop up displaced CDC professionals and such?

I really hope there is a plan in place to fill the massive void the USA is creating.

The best is that I broke my landing ankle 3 weeks ago, and this grand plan came to me while trying to focus on my home physiotherapy program.

Whatever. Ankle strength, hip flexor stretches...

Damn, that is such a good way to put it.

It was like 80 pages! I don't get how that wouldn't make people suspicious enough to actually read.

Just like I can't imagine signing off on a genAI contract.

I still find it wild that I was the only one of 100 people to read the contract for that little "adventure" in LA.

Was not fun to let anyone know what they'd signed. Lots of shocked Pikachu faces.

Why stop at pink? That's not super inclusive.

I would have been a black triangle, personally.

Though I guess I pass as allistic most times, so maybe a red now.

I was going to say, "holy shit, people DO THAT??"

... But you know, that tracks.

Before I deactivated my Facebook account, it was kind of fun seeing each embassy/ambassador getting ROASTED on the comments of everything they post.

I was getting posts from us embassies in maybe 4 or 5 other countries pushed to my feed.
