A lot of the business failures of the games industry are really rooted in this desire to create a product that dominates the market. The recent Amazon thing really highlights that: they wanted to create a product that outperformed Steam, but they didn't understand Steam or what the audience wanted.

Godot is awesome and I love using it but big game studios aren't really using it.
And that's why I re-installed Unity on my computer.

The other day I was on Pixabay looking for some sound clips, I typed "carmina burana", the search bar automatically modified my query for "calming banana" (aka O Fortuna).
I have not seen any other searches get warped like that and it seems a bit strange.

Here is a screenshot of a game I'm developing with Godot.
It's a brick busting game (obviously heavily inspired by Arkanoid) with a math twist.
I thought that making this game would be just a quick little thing but it turns out I was a fool for thinking that.

I was playing some Rocket League yesterday, which is pretty much the only game I play online.
Had the usual "third guy on the team quitting on us" thing happening in some
matches. Got stuck with some trolls in other matches.
So I uninstalled the damn thing, it's just not fun anymore.
