Clair Obscur is my GOTY and quite possibly my favourite RPG, but if I have one hot take it's that the combat isn't 'innovative' - it's just Super Mario RPG's action command system. But that's a good thing!! More turn based RPGs should use it, there's a reason Paper Mario TTYD is so popular

Worked out the other day I’ve spent over 10,000 hours in the Final Fantasy franchise including FFXIV, and just under 1800 hours excluding FFXIV. I’ve never played a FF before I played FFXIV what has Yoshi P done to me 😔
