I'm a noob with csp but maybe, is there a bit of white on the end of the base image when you put it in for a brush? Like if you crop and leave an edge to it- it might be seeing that and adding the break in as part of the design if that makes sense.

Same boat, but if I ever get back into doing commissions, it'll be male/masc ocs only. Fem presenting are so difficult for me to draw and I'm rarely as happy with their results, and generally the process isn't as enjoyable either.
