My experience over 30 years of them has improved in each generation. The utility is greater as a phone than as a loudspeaker.

Although since the Nokia 7110, they've not inspired me or looked cool.

It might have started there, but now I attribute it to main character syndrome, where they just don't give two hoots about anyone else. Alas.

Hey you. Switch off loudspeaker on your phone, raise it gently to your ear and GIVE IT A FUCKING REST WITH THE LOUD CONVERSATION IN PUBLIC, YOU PRICK.

Mobile phones are a blessing and a curse. I have no idea why dickheads talk into them like communicators from Star Trek but it needs to stop. Urgh.

Man, those models were ace. So detailed. I ended up picking up a ton of Confrontation models instead, but always loved the look of that dude with the buzzsaws.
