I know everyone likes to show off their fabulous finished models when they have an influx of new followers (hello!), so let's do this differently. Here's four of my favourite #WIP projects for you to enjoy!

It’s a "crisis" when immigrants "take jobs away", but "innovation" when machines do. Funny.

Right choice made.

My experience over 30 years of them has improved in each generation. The utility is greater as a phone than as a loudspeaker.

Although since the Nokia 7110, they've not inspired me or looked cool.

They're so over. Over.

That sounds terribly sensible and a rational approach. It'll never catch on.

It might have started there, but now I attribute it to main character syndrome, where they just don't give two hoots about anyone else. Alas.

Hey you. Switch off loudspeaker on your phone, raise it gently to your ear and GIVE IT A FUCKING REST WITH THE LOUD CONVERSATION IN PUBLIC, YOU PRICK.

Mobile phones are a blessing and a curse. I have no idea why dickheads talk into them like communicators from Star Trek but it needs to stop. Urgh.

The original's one of my favourite games. Enjoy it!

I haven't painted anything in the last week. Have a picture of my cat by way of apology.

This is looking so good, fella!

£17 gets you several meals, and enough spices to last you a couple of months to try other recipes. Invest in your future.

Chicken thighs, passata, chorizo, ground cumin and coriander, paprika and garlic. Enjoy.

Same. I daren't say it out loud though, in case the printer hears me and reverts to type.

Man, those models were ace. So detailed. I ended up picking up a ton of Confrontation models instead, but always loved the look of that dude with the buzzsaws.

If I had a penny every time I'd heard that from someone.

Chris Foss spaceships blew my tiny mind on book covers.

(unsure that's one of his, but definitely same feel)

That looks like serious dense cake. Enjoy!

I think it's cheap, yes. I also remember turning down Ocean Colour Scene because I was so skint I couldn't afford the tenner for a ticket.

(but could afford a tenner for the pub, what a fiscally irresponsible idiot I was)

I remember seeing them on the Design For Life tour. Stunning. Can't have cost more than £10-20, which blows my mind.

I'm just here for "bone tones".

A beautiful success. They look awesome, and displayed well too.

Any hobbits or tricksy elveses?

Beautiful!

(but also totally a euphemism)

Friend of mine picked his up from a Japanese proxy bidding site. Apparently it's the trading cards (?) in the boxes that are of greatest interest, then folk are just selling off the models at sensible prices.
