I'm not 100% sure on that, that could be. But I have seen this kind of thing before with games in the past where certain countries and or stores release the full game early. And by that I mean fully, no restrictions playable early

Yeah, this is true! I do know the US is typically the only one to use this format & especially European countries use the day/month/year format as you mentioned. So, this very well could go either way, it could be 50/50, but it's fun to acknowledge this & point it out anyway xD
