I’ve got hope under my skin, under the radar.

These feckless dipshits. “kidnapper actively trying to kidnap fears kidnapping.”
It’s like the old cannibal in Hansel and Gretel saying she never would’ve let those kids in the house if she knew she was going in the oven. The kids aren’t the villains in the story.
The agent, who’s assigned to another HSI office and is in Minnesota on “temporary detail for an operation,” is unfamiliar with the Twin Cities, did not know where they were going, and “was in fear that he was being abducted.”

Our household record for pushing cars out of the intersection was around 10, in the crazy snow times of three years ago.

Pushed a smol car out last night; they had a shovel and still couldn’t get over the snow ridges chunked up by other cars. Very glad they are plowing today.

I think a lot about how kids are currently exposed to fed-sanctioned cruelty, racism, & stupidity, &, for some, a constant state of fear that their developing brains & bodies must endure. Most kids will see this for what it is. Others will learn that violence & intimidation get you what you want.
My daughter’s school bus was delayed this morning because armed ICE agents, some masked, were in the middle of 15th Ave in Cedar Riverside. So why wouldn’t ICE just get out of the way when the bus came? Perhaps they were busy harassing Somali-Americans, who are overwhelmingly citizens. But... (1/4)

One of the kids in my daughter’s school walk line had the Wally Szczerbiak duck impaled on the top of his safety flag. I was impressed.

Love that both Julius and Ant watched their teammates claw back into the game by playing defense and moving the ball on offense and decide to end the game with isolation garbage.

How did they not see them pull Ant’s jersey on the drive? I’m glad we got the three, but damn! So obvious!

Have to hope the Clippers start feeling the back-to-back in their legs for this fourth quarter.

Jaden. 😑
We love it!
December 7, 2025 at 2:30 AM
You could see Jaden trying to find a way to get back to Harden on that possession. Dumb foul by Rudy.

It might be easy to find things like this merely petty or superficial, but that would be a mistake. Demeaning, erasing or eliminating celebrations or acknowledgments of Black America is straight from Redemption playbook, and is intended to reinforce the racial hierarchy and signal its reinstatement.

This is so scary.
A 19-year-old college student was about to board a flight to surprise her family for Thanksgiving when she was detained at Boston Logan International Airport and deported to Honduras two days later, her father and lawyer said on Sunday.

Joe Burrow is BACK, leading the Bengals to a 32-14 win over the Ravens on Thanksgiving 🍗

“A lot of time still, Ted.”
Haha. Nice, Joe.

I don’t recognize this Bengals defense and it’s fucking awesome.

Travel complaint: Limiting liquids to a quart-sized plastic bag is sexist & ageist. I’m in my 40s. I need all my tinctures & tonics, my various moisturizers, & especially the little vial where I store the black souls of ICE agents until I can get back to the pneumatic tube that takes them to hell.

Julius. I mean, you are a vet. 5 seconds call?
After this and the last game, Finch needs to ban him from inbounding in the clutch.
