Why are you calling this a celebration? It’s a protest and show of solidarity to keep fighting. Nobody I know here celebrating anything other than the fact that we’re seeing more folks stepping into the resistance.

We took lessons from ourselves. The foundations of this community-wide protest structure was built when George Floyd was murdered. We activated an already established framework and scaled it.
