Thanks for sharing, I’ll have to track down the actual articles. But I’m a bit worried that these are going to be studies on mice or rats, and if so we probably shouldn’t treat them as evidence about humans

No, this weekend was a Punks for Palestine benefit fest in DC. But the vibe was not unlike Furnace. It was a massively supportive and massively multigenerational audience, with folks from low teens though (I’d guess) late 60s

Y’all, it’s wild that I’m almost 50, have a seriously messed up spine and hips, have a body that eats itself, and am still able to go see punk, metal, and hardcore shows all the damn time. I got dealt a shit hand in a lot of ways. But I feel infinitely lucky for the life I’ve lived!

Tempeh bacon doesn’t taste like bacon at all, but it’s not supposed to. Even if I ate meat, I would take a vegan bacon, egg, and cheese over the real thing every time, and be happy I did so!
