I love games so much I started making them! The last two I worked on are GuardGrave and Deathwish Enforcers--Steam version is the best version. Cats, food, yard work, sunsets, and having fun are also cool.
And I wanna be clear here - In each and every case, I really wanted to see the team pull through and make something they could build on. Hoping and waiting for a path forward to present itself. Good teams with good people, on good projects with good ideas. We all deserved better.
Four fucksakes and a hail mary. I should stop backing MMOs that wanna do something different, because it makes them fail? EQ Next, H1Z1, Revival, Chronicles of Elyria, and it sounds like Ashes of Creation is writing itself to this list.

At least New World achieved success. Amazon canned it anyway.

Hot take - Samus doesn't take off the armor after a long mission because there's no waste recycling system on-board.

Though if I'm being honest, the waste recycler is probably what powers the missile constructor stations.

So after watching the last one... @pablo.show @minakimes.bsky.social Whenever I think of someone stepping down to a lower division, my worry is "oh they're gonna beat the hell outta everyone else, that's rough for the rest of the division"

But the hall-of-fame hopeful did the opposite....? Ooof.

Plenty of wins, lots of enjoyment, but... whoops, I went 110 nights in #Hades2 before realizing the bird wanted a word. The word, however, was not "bird."

It was "Peck" because it turns out they're a big Willow film fan.

Oh also, blowing in the wind.

How many wars must a man declare,
before he has buried the Epstein files?

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a real one, he fought hard to raise the bar for everyone in the best way he knew.

Also: If you see a picture of MLK but the eyebrows are set outward instead of sitting more inward, you are looking at a photo of @roywoodjr.bsky.social not MLK.

It isn't just the oil. It isn't just hitting China in the trade partnership. The invasion of Venezuela is both, and more! All we had to do was wag the dog for a year before a classic "Early January Trump invasion" despite everyone being against action of the sort.

Maybe its just me but I feel like Melinoë should face rivals blindy with his daddy's support instead of a witch assist. The god that Jason Momoa would play never even mentions his children or Thoosa. Oh well, Supergiant can do whatever with their spin on mythology!~

Hey @tmobilesupport.bsky.social fire the AI and hire a competent veteran programmer.

Xmas is the warlord, not the oppressed. The War of Xmas on polite society continues year after year. Call me a humbugger all you want, but the global infrastructure to support one overbearing consumer holiday, and the media infrastructure used to reinforce it, has been a global force for evil.

As much as tribalism makes it fun to dunk on the other side, this doesn't sow unity. I'm going to suggest the high road: Party politics and loyalty in America makes the working class a collective Charlie Brown, with two different Lucys waiting to pull their football away and call workers blockheads.
please don't do this. MAGA hats are made from an acrylic blend, which will release toxic chemicals when set on fire, potentially harming you and downwind woodland creatures

This is exactly what we mean when we say that you can't replace jobs with AI and expect anything better than "mid" with an average of "meh" and a low point of "this should be a free game that I'm paid to play."

been thoroughly tested and fixed up, prior to release, even if it means increasing the late-stage budget to support more human QA team members.

The War of Xmas is swelling to its usual climax, and while it does, its soldiers--stores and advertisers--are lining up and rolling out this year's munitions. Supermarkets and shoe stores have already donned their uniforms and are aiming sonic weaponry at us.

Lotta shit's been making me feel old recently. Not physical stuff but like... how things that were new when I was younger seem way older now. And things that were old when I was younger seem like knowable relics and ancient tech. And how people say "times were better" because the economy was "okay."

How would one ferment with levitating yeast? It seems like the off-gassing would need a special solution so it can burp out the CO2 without letting the levitating yeast out or having the brew pour out.

It is a long shot, but I wonder if the national weather service can give me a grant to form a dad bod boy band "National Heatwave" to tour and perform songs about the climate crisis?

Not to be paranoid, but just in case: NEVER say that you have an old Google phone. It died of suspicious causes late last night, I think the ability to charge the battery or the battery itself suddenly died. Oh well, back to Samsung!
I got my last two phones in 2016 and 2021 (it was 2 years old by then) and I have never felt like it is behind the times. I still miss the headphone jack and I liked a thick bezel with off-screen buttons.

It must feel really terrible being the guy who helped facilitate the spread of a global pandemic by suppressing information about it, being out for 4 years, and coming back with a lackey who wants to reduce access that pandemic's vaccine.

No, I bet he doesn't even think about it. What an asshole.

I came up with a working definition of superfoods:

Foods that have been promotionally marketed as healthy and nutritious.

That's it. 110 years in the making, you saw it here first!
