The physics experiment MicroBooNE will present significant results at 4:30PM ET: microboone.fnal.gov/microboone-2...

These results are going to be published in the science journal Nature. The collaboration (including me) is embargoed from discussing this result until after the presentation.

On April 11, 2024, there was a special public tour of the GAPS (General AntiParticle Spectrometer) detector at Nevis Laboratories. Professor Kerstin Perez explained the function and purpose of the detector, which will will be flown by balloon over the Antarctic later this year.
