It’s not reasonable to blame him, not least because he does not have an evidenced understanding. However, those who appointed him need to be held accountable, on the basis of failure to appoint a suitably qualified person

I can think of at least 1 probably credible FG TD for the finance role as we seem to be nearing a serious global economic problem.

The awful track record says it all. Plenty of intelligent advice ignored, especially in 13/14 period. Our permanent government probably more guilty
