This is great. I love the trend of 3D animation taking more stylistic liberties and leaning into the medium. The music and choreography are absolutely on point.

I've not 1 hundoed the DLC, just done critical path, but the stages are probably the most fun in the entire game and feel super kinetic. They're also absolutely gorgeous, both due to the crystals and the Switch 2 upgrade.
Final boss in pretty raw, feels like ff16 Odin

Not played this in a few years but wanted to have a refresh before Silksong. Got the 10 hour achievement but was just shy of 5.
This is still the quintessential Metroidvania that marries world design, combat and gorgeous hand drawn visuals

Really random oddity but the Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Wii manual shows the game as having the boss health system from the Gamecube original and not the updated heart system

This is just pure unadulterated fun. Olivia Colman and Antonio Banderas really add to this film in a great way. It's not as good as the 2nd one but that's just the fate of a trilogy's third entry

Metroid Zero Mission
I can't believe I slept on this one all these years. It genuinely is such a fun bite size blast. I beat it in 3:21 which I thought was decent for a blind playthrough. The movement and alt fire feel so so much better than Super, and the bosses are really fun and tense.

What an amazing film. The animation has never been more impressive. The jokes hit just right and I do love the quaint encapsulation of rural British culture
