Based on the median WaPo reporter salary from a 2019 @postguild.bsky.social report (adjusted for inflation, because of course salaries scaled with cost of living, ha ha I laugh so I don’t cry), Bezos threw 300 of his employees’ lives into chaos to save the equivalent of $30 to the average American.
Jeff Bezos gave $75 million to support Melania Trump's vanity film, but he doesn't have the money for the hundreds of journalists he laid off at The Post today.
