I like that party hat!

A friendly remember:

Every single Republican in Congress voted against the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act that allows Medicare to negotiate drug prices.

Republicans would prefer that drug companies get to keep that extra 44% profit margin.

Yes, there is far too much tourism income in the American economy. Let’s drive that to zero.

What drugs are the 25% on?

Then he’’ll hide behind a sham investigation which prevents the release of the files. Just like his tax returns…

Right after his taxes finally get released.

I need help with a fundamental question. Why would criminal evidence need to be “declassified?”

To be classified, there has to be a national security connection. What’s the national security concern here?

Also EO 13526 (Dec. 29, 2009) prohibits classification to conceal wrong-doing.

The market place analysis encourages externalities (higher profits!), but that’s why governments play a role in setting energy policy. Hence, a $7500 subsidy is likely justified, as it reduces the cost that the government bears in externalities.
November 13, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Yes and no. We need to apply the same reasoning to non electric vehicles.

The US taxpayer is subsidizing the oil industry in the order of hundreds of billions of dollars a year, through direct and indirect subsidies, military costs to protect shipping lanes, and the environmental impacts.

Or perhaps $150k for a vehicle is too much.

Serious question — is there a statute of limitations for all of this? If not, is knowingly covering up crimes without a statute of limitation therefore a crime too?
November 13, 2025 at 4:21 PM
That’s what happens when you actually believe the boss when he says “I totally didn’t have anything to do with Epstein.”
November 13, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Hey, if you crime small, off to jail.

If you crime big, there’s a pardon waiting — if you’re willing to slide the big man a bribe..
November 13, 2025 at 4:07 PM
That’s a bit too simplistic

Unless Trump makes Johnson have a “Come to Jesus” moment first.

"What most people don't seem to realize is that there is just as much money to be made out of the wreckage of a civilization as from the upbuilding of one... There's good money in empire building. But, there's more in empire wrecking."

It’s a sign of the moral rot in our government that the Republican SCOTUS believes the party suffering “irreparable harm” is not the millions of people who will go hungry but rather the Trump administration.

Did anyone follow up with “Republicans control both the House and Senate. What does this have to do with the Democrats?”

And here I was, concerned that this was going to be MAGA’s “Führereid”

Okay, I admit, I did not have on my Bingo card the issue that would break the fever being… Tylenol?
