reasonableness is not determined by you. it’s been determined by courts. as you said you’re not a lawyer so perhaps providing legal counsel isn’t the wisest step.

as long as the person reasonably feels they are not being forced to speak or interact it is considered a consensual encounter under 4th amendment law.
