Can’t stand shop bought mince pies and mincemeat. 2 apples, 250g each of raisins/sultanas/currants(all chopped in a blender)/brown sugar/suet, tsp Lemmon juice, 2tsp mixed spice and a glass of brandy. Old family recipe...put in a sealed container and leave for about a week or so in a cool place.
