What to do about tyranny?

I have no original show-stopping ideas but on a tour of the Reichstag a guide suggested that we should all join a political party, attend meetings, have our say. Can be both boring and fractious but if we leave it to the cranks and weirdos, we have nobody else to blame.

Does the truth depend only on who is speaking?

BBC commissioned "Gaza - How to survive a warzone", but has pulled it because the presenter's father is in Hamas. But no claim that anything in it is untrue.

Foreign journalists are kept out by Israel.
