✨🎈Tonight's the night! The Macy’s balloons are inflating into giants, from their sleepy flat selves to the giants you know and love. First started as a private overnight prep back in the 1930s, the public-facing "Inflation" show opened in 1994, and now it kicks off (in 2025) from 1-6 PM.

And as of today, the scaffolding around Prometheus (the Gold Statue) is coming down, too! ✨

The giant “star” over 5th Ave and 57th St is the UNICEF Snowflake. First installed in 1984, it’s now one of the largest outdoor crystal chandeliers in the world, over 16,000 crystals, weighing more than 3,000 lbs. When it lights up, Christmas officially hits Fifth Avenue.
